Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, forcefully dismissed what he termed the “childish” and “unprofessional” hopes of European nations for a Ukrainian victory.
“The Europeans continue with their belligerence… There is no chance,” Alipov stated, accusing them of “craziness” in their approach to the nearly four-year-old war.
He contrasted this with President Donald Trump, who he alleged “understands that this war is lost by Ukraine and the West.”
The ambassador’s confidence, he explained, is rooted in Russia’s military power. He said Russia cannot be “taken over” because of its nuclear weapons.
He explicitly linked this to state policy, noting that Russia’s doctrine allows for a nuclear response in the face of an “existential threat.”
